Still waiting for spring.

Its only February, and it has alrady been along winter. We've had our usual quota of winter storms and there are more on the way.

However, on the baby front, we started early, to date we've had a batch on Tamworth piglets and 8 live Dorset lambs.

Here's our bottle baby "BB" the morning after she was saved from near death after being born on the coldest night.

This year we didn't have any calves of our own, so we bought two from a neighbour. Lily and Basil, are doing fine.

We've also just acquired an orphaned Angus heifer calf too, her name is Wendy, here she is looking for her bottle
